Gameplay analytics
Gameplay analytics are collected automatically when you play. We record match IDs, chess positions, moves, spells, cooldowns, results, time between turns, game settings, errors, and connection changes to improve reliability and game balance. Known campaign labels such as “itch” or “playtest” may be included; we do not record full referral URLs.
These records are pseudonymous. We do not ask players for a name or account to play, and gameplay events do not include email addresses, chat, IP addresses, or device fingerprints. Our hosting and database providers still receive network information, including IP addresses, when your browser connects.
What is stored on your device
Local storage remembers settings such as sound, camera, tutorial progress and local game statistics. A bounded queue holds unsent gameplay events for retry. Administrator sign-in stores a session token; ordinary players do not need to sign in.
Multiplayer and feedback
Online play sends room presence and game actions through Supabase to your opponent. Temporary queue IDs expire when searches or assignments are abandoned. Feedback is optional and sent only when you submit the form; it includes your rating, category, message, and a match ID when submitted from a game result. Please do not include personal or sensitive information.
Who receives data
Vercel hosts the application and Supabase stores gameplay reports and feedback and supports online play. Their infrastructure may process data outside your country. Only approved game administrators can read reports and feedback. We do not sell gameplay or feedback data or use it for targeted advertising.
Retention and requests
The application’s scheduled cleanup removes gameplay reports and feedback older than 90 days. Hosting logs and backups follow the providers’ retention settings and may take longer to expire. To request access or deletion, contact us with a match ID or the time and text of your feedback where possible. Because we do not maintain a player identity across matches, we may need this information to locate your records.
Young players
This beta is intended for a general audience, not directed at children under 13. Please do not submit information about children. If you believe a child’s personal information has been submitted, contact us so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate.
Privacy rights depend on where you live and may include access, correction, deletion, objection, and a complaint to your local regulator. Gameplay analytics help us improve balance and reliability; operational records support providing and protecting the game. Feedback is sent only when you choose to submit it.
